Wantin by Truth Devour is the story of a young girl named Talia. The book opens with Talia, her parents, and nanny Marlee. Talia's parents die when she is six years old--that leaves Talia with Marlee--only to be "adopted" by Australian relatives and whisked away from Marlee. Talia and her cousin Brad become extremely close--therein lies the problem. The love they have for each other cannot be pursued due to the fact that they are first cousins. Wantin takes you along with Talia as she leaves a love that cannot be and searches for her own soul and life path. Talia will be very easy for you to follow along and become entranced with. She is an extraordinary young lady--from a very young age until the time she reaches a young woman. She takes you through her journey of finding herself--her mind, body and soul.
