About Mike Darcy
Mike Darcy is the author of the Little Joe series, as such it is not a series yet, but trust him, there are books in the works. He spent the better part of his youth wandering the forest, subsisting on foraging wild berries and the generosity of concerned woodland creatures. He holds degrees in Digital Forensics, Applied Mathematics, and a Masters in Public Administration. Obviously, natural foundations to tales about adventurous, talking animals. He lives in Southern New Hampshire with his family of super geniuses, where he serves as a bed for their adopted cat. He can be seen around town most days when his Norwegian Elkhound takes him for his daily proscribed walks. Footnote: While he was raised in a barn he did not, nor has he ever claimed to have walked uphill to school both ways in the snow. It was uphill one way then a sled ride home.
Comments
Hi Mike,
I hope this message finds you well. My name is Aiden King, and I run a private community of over 2,000 active readers professionals, parents, and everyday book lovers who are always excited to discover meaningful stories across all genres.
One of the biggest frustrations I hear from authors is how much time and money gets invested into promotion, yet how hard it still is to spark authentic engagement and reviews that last. That’s why I’ve shifted my focus to something more effective: connecting authors directly with genuine readers who love books and are eager to leave thoughtful, honest reviews.
Here’s how it works:
I introduce your book to my community.
Interested readers request a copy.
They read and post their reviews on Amazon, Goodreads, or the platform you prefer.
No gimmicks, no paid blurbs just genuine engagement from real readers.
I believe Little Joe and the Big City with its heartfelt themes of family, kindness, and pet adoption, paired with its vibrant illustrations would truly resonate with my group, especially parents and educators looking for books that spark meaningful conversations with children.
Would you be open to exploring how we can get Little Joe and the Big City into the hands of readers who will celebrate it and share their reviews?
Warmly,
Aiden King
