Medical Examiner Andy Broussard and his assistant Kit Franklyn have remained in New Orleans to tend to the bodies left behind after the terrible storm. New Orleans is mostly deserted save for the police department and medical examiners staff. Andy and Kit collect three nude female bodies left behind in the Katrina waters - all found together in a brush pile. This just does not set right with Andy-who deplores murder. He begins his investigation and the journey to find and unravel the mystery behind the deaths of these three women. He, Kit and the police department will journey down a dangerous road to bring the killer to justice. You will meet some interesting and likeable characters that all come together to make this book a good read.

His entire academic career was spent at the University of Tennessee, Health Science Center, where he published dozens of papers on wound-healing and taught microscopic anatomy to thousands of medical and dental students. He is also the author of seven published forensic mysteries and five medical thrillers. He lives in Memphis, Tennessee, with his wife and two West Highland terriers. In the spring of most years, he simply cannot stop buying new flowers and other plants for the couple's prized backyard garden.
