Melissa Owens is a 5x times award-winning author who was born and raised in Oakland, CA. She is the mother of a college graduate and works as a full-time Case Manager/Mental Health Worker. Melissa works daily in her community, supporting adults and youth who are battling severe mental health and homelessness. While Melissa was in the hospital battling COVID-19, she started a "Bucket list," and writing "3 books" was at the top of that list. Melissa is compassionate and enthusiastic and shows unconditional support to anyone around her. She is truly dedicated to serving her community and continuing to grow as a mother, author, and human being. |
