Writing as Aja Mie, Susan Wingate is a #1 Amazon bestselling author and holds a Master's of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing from Lindenwood University. Her focus at Lindenwood was fiction. Susan's poetry, short stories, and essays have been published in journals such as the Virginia Quarterly Review, the Superstition Review, and Suspense Magazine, as well as others. Susan Wingate writes as Susan Wingate and under the pseudonym, Aja Mie. They write about big trouble in small towns with a focus toward family and crime. Susan is a Christian and is the primary caregiver of her husband, Bob who suffers from frontotemporal dementia. They live off the coast of Washington State on San Juan Island where she has a herd of deer, a compendium of raccoons, and a flurry of fox.
