Freddy Fumple and the Mindmonsters is the story of young Freddy Fumple. The book opens with Freddy and his family moving to a new neighborhood. Vegard Svingen daily ponders upon the question "how far is infinity?"

Besides that, he is a Norwegian writer and TV producer who already at the age of sixteen won a national screenplay competition organized by the NRK (the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation). Since then he has developed, co-written and directed some of the biggest TV successes in Norway for both children and adults.

Vegard currently lives in Oslo (Norway).
